Prof. Stéphanie Baillif

Stéphanie Baillif is a professor in ophthalmology and is currently head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Nice, France. She is also a member of the teaching council of the faculty and is the interregional coordinator of the Specialized Studies Diploma (DES) in Ophthalmology.
Stéphanie Baillif is a member of the editorial board of International Ophthalmology. She has authored more than 110 peer-reviewed publications and is the author or co-author of 6 books. She is also a board member of the European Association for Vision and Eye Research.
Her main fields of interest are surgical retina, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and onco-ophthalmology. She is involved in more than 40 clinical trials that mainly focus on AMD, diabetic macular edema, and choroidal melanoma. She is associate researcher in the INSERM U1065 Team “Biology and pathologies of melanocytes” and is the founder of the Onco-Ophthalmology Department of Nice (DOON).
